When my grandpa opened Bernard's Garage, Inc., in downtown Milwaukie back in June of 1925, he probably could not even imagine what cars would be like today.

Back then, Grandpa would go into his small machine shop and make his own parts. That's what it took to meet his customer's needs. The world has changed a lot since Grandpa opened the shop. Milwaukie's dirt roads have been paved, and horses are seldom tied to the hitching rings on Main Street.

But what hasn't changed is our dedication to meeting our customer's needs. At Bernard's Garage, the technician who works on your vehicle is still the key to quality work.

Today's cars are much more complicated than the ones Grandpa and Dad worked on. They're loaded with computers and high tech equipment. Yesterday's "mechanics" are the "technicians" of today.

Part of what makes Bernard's Garage so efficient is that we operate our own parts store, adjacent to our shop. We invite you to stop by the store when you need high quality replacement parts from such companies as AC Delco, Bosch, BCA Bearings, Dayco, Felpro or Raybestos.

One of the most important services we offer is the regular maintenance that all vehicles require.

We provide oil and filter changes, chassis lubrication, safety checks, hose and belt inspection - virtually everything you need to keep your vehicle running in top condition and maintain the manufacturer's warranty.
